Veterinarians
Dr. Grambow
Veterinarian
Dr. Grambow has been a small animal vet for 31 years, and he’s still super passionate about every aspect of his job and the awesome team he works with! He’s got an amazing wife, 2 grown kids, and a fantastic daughter-in-law. They love getting together as a family and traveling.
In his free time, Dr. Grambow is all about diving into different topics like theology, whole-person stewardship, drumming/music/art, and leadership. He also enjoys hiking, kayaking, fly fishing, cooking, and indulging in “escapism” (Tolkien and all things Batman).
Dr. Duffield
Veterinarian
Dr. Duffield joined the Central Animal Hospital team in 2021. Nick was raised southern Ohio, across from Huntington, WV. He graduated from The Ohio State College of Veterinary medicine after attending Marshall University (“We Are Marshall!”). Nick now resigns in New England with his wife Abigail and two fur kids Harley and Lilly. Nick’s veterinary interests include surgery and internal medicine but his favorite part of being a veterinarian is the relationships he gets to form with patients and their people.
When Dr. Duffield is not caring for his patients he enjoys golfing, playing drums and guitar, as well as travelling, and spending time with friends & family. Being a New England newcomer, he looks forward to exploring all this region has to offer from its food and sports to its history, natural beauty, and beyond!
Dr. Warman
Veterinarian
Dr. Warman grew up in sunny South Florida. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2024 and is excited to begin his career at Central Animal Hospital of Stoneham! Dr. Warman is passionate about individualized, patient-oriented care and has a particular interest in strengthening the human-animal bond. He lives in East Boston with his girlfriend who is also a veterinarian, two cats (Piper and Rou), and their dog (Buck).
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time in nature, cooking, listening to music, and playing the drums. He also spends most of his free time trying to keep his desert plants alive in the Northeast.
Dr. Smith
Veterinarian
Dr. Beth Smith began her veterinary journey in Massachusetts at a feline rescue society, where she started by cleaning floors and eventually fell in love with healing animals through medicine. Her experience grew as she ran monthly feral cat spay/neuter clinics and transitioned into emergency medicine in New Hampshire, helping families navigate difficult decisions about their pets. Wanting to build longer-lasting relationships with her clients and patients, she moved into general practice and even provided at-home veterinary services. Dr. Smith has a special interest in primary care and preventative medicine, as she enjoys teaching clients and helping them make informed choices tailored to their pets’ needs. Currently, she is relocating back to Massachusetts to be closer to her family. Outside of work, Dr. Smith is an avid Boston Bruins fan and enjoys playing Pokémon Go, watching TV, and exploring new hobbies. She shares her home with Sybil, her quirky six-year-old cat, and Amelia Pond, a 14+ year-old mixed-breed rescue dog who loves adventures. Dr. Smith’s family, including her older brother and parents, are also based in Massachusetts, where they enjoy retirement and animal care.
Leadership
Alycia W.
Practice Manager
Alycia is our Practice Manager. She first joined the team in 2019 as a veterinary technician and worked her way up to her management role. She has over 13 years of experience in the veterinary industry with small animals and exotics, as well as surgery, client care, and management. In 2016, she graduated from North Shore Community College with her Associate’s Degree in Animal Care. She speaks feline and canine fluently.
Outside of work, Alycia loves spending time with her daughter Abriella, as well as her four kitties, three dogs, and bearded dragon, Mopar. Over the recent years, when Alycia is not working, she has been broadening her baking and cooking skills. One day Alycia would love to be on one of the baking competition shows, for the fun of course. She also loves spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee or in Maine. She enjoys snowboarding, car racing, boating, and scary movies.
Adrianna F.
Technician Supervisor
Adrianna started off in the animal industry volunteering at a local animal shelter every Saturday for a year until high school, graduated from Essex Agricultural & Tech High school in 2008, where she majored in Veterinary Technology. While in school Adrianna worked weekends at the school as a member of their Farm Crew Program which gave her the opportunity to take care of all the animals on the property like horses, cows, small animals (mice, rats, rabbits etc.), birds, fish & exotics. During Adrianna’s senior year she took part in a work study program offered by Essex Aggie, where she worked at a small animal clinic in Danvers. Since then, Adrianna has continued to gain valuable knowledge and skills over the years working at different general practice clinics as a veterinary technician. Adrianna did venture out of the veterinary world a few times but has always found herself returning to her true passion.
In Adrianna’s free time, she loves spending time with her two boys & having adventures whenever they can! Adrianna’s sons also have the passion & love of animals as she does, but admittedly that is probably do to the fact they’ve always had animals with them growing up.
Adrianna currently cares for their senior tri-pod staffy named Samantha Ann ( Sammy). Adrianna and her family recently added a tabby named Gizmo ( Gizzy) about a years ago, along with a fancy gecko we named Dubbie.
