Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Parks is the newest member of the Central Animal Hospital family. Her passion for companion animals and the human-animal bond began at an early age and has powered her not only through veterinary school but also certifications in small animal acupuncture, holistic food therapy, fear-free training, and pet loss grief counseling. Our senior companions hold a special place in Dr. Parks’ heart as she spent her first two years as a veterinarian in primarily palliative and end of life care, encouraging meaningful moments and maximizing comfort during their twilight years. Her personal practice is rooted in the knowledge that every pet that visits us is someone’s fur-child, and she treats them as her own.
When not at work Dr. Parks can usually be found playing tug (or picking up de-stuffed squeakers) with her two pups Bindi & Hatch or exploring the trails in her new Northeast home with her fiancé. She also loves baking and making a mess in the kitchen, a mess the pups are happy to help clean up!
Dr. Parks looks forward to meeting you all and feels truly honored to be part of your family’s care team!
My name is Nick Duffield and I am originally from southern Ohio, across from Huntington, WV. I am a graduate of Marshall University (“We Are Marshall!”) and The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine.
My veterinary interests include surgery and internal medicine. My favorite part of being a veterinarian is the relationships I get to form with animals and their people. It’s a joy and privilege to be given the opportunity to be a part of the Central Animal Hospital veterinary team that serves to keep your pets healthy and living their fullest life!
In my free time I enjoy golfing, playing drums and guitar, travelling, and spending time with friends and family. Being a New England newcomer, I look forward to exploring all this region has to offer from its food and sports to its history and natural beauty, and beyond!
Dr. Rachael Steinbock graduated from Miami University in Ohio, earning degrees in Art History and Marketing. After graduation, she spent a month working with injured and orphaned monkeys in South Africa. This experience drove her decision to return to school to pursue her true passion of veterinary medicine. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in Alabama, after which she moved up to New England to be closer to family. Dr. Steinbock enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and is especially interested in dermatology, radiology, and internal medicine. Her mission is to treat every patient like she would her own furry companion.
Outside of work, Dr. Steinbock enjoys working on her crafts (sewing, painting, and needlepoint) and spending time with her Chiweenie, Penny Lane.
Alycia is our Practice Manager. She first joined the team in 2019 as a veterinary technician and worked her way up to her management role. In 2016, she graduated from North Shore Community College with her Associate’s Degree in Animal Care. She speaks feline and canine fluently.
Outside of work, Alycia loves spending time with her daughter Abriella, as well as her four kitties, three dogs, and bearded dragon, Mopar. Over the recent years, when Alycia is not working, she has been broadening her baking and cooking skills. One day Alycia would love to be on one of the baking competition shows, for the fun of course. She also loves spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee or in Maine. She enjoys snowboarding, car racing, boating, and scary movies.

I was born and raised in Dracut, MA. I am now raising my 7yr old son in the same neighborhood I grew up in. I am a dog and cat mom of Kia, Maggie and Bear. I went to Salem State University for communications with a concentration of advertising. I have been in the veterinary field for about 4.5 years now. My interests are dentals and surgeries. I like being able to meet and learn about all the patients and help the owners with anything they have questions with. In my free time I usually binge watch thrillers and true story documentaries. I love to go to NH and ME for day trips. My favorite thing is everything fall. I have a side hobby of photography when I have the time.

Magge holds a split position at our hospital as a veterinary assistant and client service representative. She has always had a passion for animals and animal care. She volunteered with various animal organizations through high school and college, before following her passion into dog training. Magge enjoys helping owners develop a clear relationship with their dogs based on trust, which allows owners to give their dogs as free and safe a life as possible.
Magge’s interest in animal care extends beyond dog training, and she is excited to jump into this role as it gives her the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of a lot of family pets!
In her free time, Magge can be found goofing around with her pups Ethos and Swamp, out on hikes, or finding a new craft to get into.
