Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Parks is the newest member of the Central Animal Hospital family. Her passion for companion animals and the human-animal bond began at an early age and has powered her not only through veterinary school but also certifications in small animal acupuncture, holistic food therapy, fear-free training, and pet loss grief counseling. Our senior companions hold a special place in Dr. Parks’ heart as she spent her first two years as a veterinarian in primarily palliative and end of life care, encouraging meaningful moments and maximizing comfort during their twilight years. Her personal practice is rooted in the knowledge that every pet that visits us is someone’s fur-child, and she treats them as her own.
When not at work Dr. Parks can usually be found playing tug (or picking up de-stuffed squeakers) with her two pups Bindi & Hatch or exploring the trails in her new Northeast home with her fiancé. She also loves baking and making a mess in the kitchen, a mess the pups are happy to help clean up!
Dr. Parks looks forward to meeting you all and feels truly honored to be part of your family’s care team!
Kristen is our Practice Manager. She grew up locally, with a strong love for animals that just could not be ignored. Kristen got her first job in veterinary medicine at the age of 16 years old and has never looked back. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and is currently furthering her college education to earn her master’s degree.
She absolutely loves the bond created with our patients and clients, as well as working with a team that shares the same values as her. Kristen is passionate about continuing to bring exceptional care to our patients and client service to our beloved community.
Kristen always keeps in mind the experience she would want to receive with her own three dogs when caring for yours. She looks forward to meeting all of you and getting to know your fur babies!

Emily is one of our amazing Client Service Representatives! You will recognize her immediately when you’re greeted by her warm smile and bubbly personality.
Emily grew up locally and has spent most of her life surrounded by animals, mainly working with horses. Emily has a background in the dental field. However, she is thrilled to be pursuing her passion for working with animals! She is also working to complete her associate degree.
She has many hobbies, most of which encompass being outdoors. She spends most of her time at the barn with her horse or at home with her bird, dog, and guinea pig. Emily has also spent time volunteering for the Service Dog Project.

Christine grew up in Seattle and has been in Massachusetts for 3 years now. She has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and German from the University of Washington.
After college, she went to work at a specialty animal retail store. This inspired her to continue her passion of working with animals that eventually led her to the veterinary field. She spent several years in an emergency practice setting supporting clients with very ill beloved family pets. She loves being a welcoming presence in the hospital and is very excited to get to know all of the clients and patients here at Central!
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her fiance and their dog, as well as reading, spending time outdoors, exploring the city, and discovering all the best local restaurants.
Christine is looking forward to meeting and getting to know everyone and their fur-babies! Client service is a high priority at our practice and we know Christine will work hard to support the team to further enhance your experience with us.
